Crock Pot Turkey Chili

Happy New Year, everyone! I wanted to share a recipe I used last night at our NYE party. With the holidays and all the food we have been eating lately, I decided to make a healthier option for the occasion! This crock pot turkey chili is a simple recipe and is nice because it is super versatile 🙂

Feel free to add different veggies to yours if there is something you aren’t a fan of!

Ingredients I used:

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 28 oz petite diced tomatoes
  • 28 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 bag frozen corn
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • chili powder (add to taste)
  • garlic powder (add to taste)
  • black pepper (add to taste)

First, brown the ground turkey on the stove top. I added some chili powder, garlic, and black pepper while it cooked as well. While it was cooking, I chopped the green and red pepper. After the meat is browned, add all the ingredients into your crock pot. I use a liner for easier clean up but that is optional. Check the chili occasionally and add seasoning to taste 🙂

Let the chili cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours and you will be ready to go! A fantastic and healthy meal on a cold, winter night 🙂
