Valentine’s Day Craft

Happy Friday, everyone!

Man, has it been a crazy week for us! I am more than ready to rest and have a relaxing weekend πŸ™‚

With Valentine’s Day this weekend, I of course had to do some crafts with my nanny kiddo! She had a blast with this simple, yet fun project!

The supplies needed for this craft include: glue, scissors, and construction paper. Depending how old the child is, you can allow them to cut various colors of paper into small squares.

After all the pieces were cut, I made an outline of a heart on a whole piece of paper. Then you are ready to start glueing!

I went ahead and put some glue on the paper and then had the child pick the pieces and place them on the paper. Keep doing this until they are satisfied with their project πŸ™‚

Once it dried, I wrote the saying πŸ™‚

And that’s all there is to it! Simple project that will keep your child busy for twenty minutes or more πŸ™‚

Christmas Mistletoe Craft

Happy Friday! Hard to believe the holidays are already next week! With that being said, I decided that it was probably a good time to break out some Christmas crafts with my nanny kiddos. Yesterday we painted “mistletoes” which is a craft I found from Pinterest! You can find more crafts similar to this on DIY Cozy Home Blog.

This is a pretty easy project to do with children of any age! You only need three items: paint, a brush, and construction paper.

Take a piece of the construction paper and get some paint ready. Have the child sit next to you and paint his/her feet one at a time and press it against the paper. Painting the feet will probably be the hardest part if your kiddos are ticklish like mine πŸ™‚

Let the paint dry and then you can go back and add any details! And that’s it – you’re finished! Pretty easy πŸ™‚

Have a great weekend everyone!
